8/31/10   2   Erica Hilary is off the air? Perhaps hew "new" guy, Joel Oxley, wanted her off the air so he wouldn't have to be the butt of her jokes and have her belittle him on the air. Of course, it could be part of the larger isolation process she'll be undergoing. Oh well, whatever the reason, it's good riddance. It was disgusting to hear her going on about how moral and upstanding she is and criticizing the infidelities of others when in reality she is a lying, scheming adulterer who started "dating" Joel Oxley while both she and Joel were still married to and living with their respective spouses. Their affair and the way they broke up their families was shameful! Read the facts in the DC divorce court trial and deposition transcripts and get a true picture of who Joel and Erica really are. Going forward, I think Erica will find herself well acquainted with that old saying,"Be careful what you wish for, for you may surely get it." Good luck, Erica -- you're going to need it!  :(

Click to report rating    7/21/10   5   I can't tell you how much I love the Jack Diamond Morning Show. I listen every morning while getting ready at home and in the car. The mix of music and the talk on the show makes my morning go by with ease. Jack is a legend in the business and there is never a dull moment throughout the show. His Cavalcade Of Comedy is a staple to of the show that I look forward to hearing every day. Aly is sooo funny and intelligent. The best part of the show however is Jimmy Alexander. He has been with Jack for years and its amazing how great they work together. Jimmy makes me laugh so hard that he brings me to tears. Keep up the good work guys and I hope to listen to you for years to come. Love your show babe!!!  :)

Click to report rating    7/21/10   3   The music is good and the combination of music versus talk for the drive is good. Ali's whining (poor Oliver) and Jack's superior attitude make me change stations usually halfway through the ride. Thankfully Erica's slurring is gone this week. Jimmy and Christine are the only thing that has kept me from changing the stations this week.  :|

Click to report rating    7/14/10   1   Jack needs to get off his high hourse and stop looking down at everyone.I used to listen but stop a year ago, between his whining and know it all attitude had to turn it off.  :(

Click to report rating    3/23/10   1   I believe Jack must be holding back some awfully disturbing secrets about his fellow show members. The mind control he wields over the show’s members is nothing short of hypnotic. I’ve actually heard Jack simply clear his throat and Erica launch into one of her long forced fake laughs. And, when Jack praises anything at all, umm finding an open parking space, the whole cast chimes in with so much excitement you’d think he’d discovered the fountain of youth. A huddled waste of time. And, he has the people around him transfixed by his every word. Jimmy agrees with Jack on EVERYTHING! Jimmy even agrees with Jack when Jack is disagreeing with him. I know that makes no sense, but I’ve heard it! Jimmy could evolve by growing a pair. Jack reminds me ofthe boy in the “Twilight Zone” movie whom no one was allowed to upset or disagree with. The whole Mix morning crew hangs on Jack’s every word as if he is the center of their universe. And, it makes all involved seem as lazy buffoons.  :(

Click to report rating    3/17/10   1   I am so sick of Jack! he knows everyone, knows everything, knows people who know everything and is such a loser. I can't believe he found wife number 3! And when he interviews guests and comedians, the fake laughter and kiss up attitude is so obvious. And the cast think he is from heaven - I guess they have to or he would fire them! And his talk about music and photography - you would think he was Ansel Adams! And the technical lingo, his evaluation of every band and their music and voices! and then he throws in a $10 word every few minutes to demonstrate just how "educated" he is. And his band, yikes - he thinks they are the Rolling Stones!~ I can't stand this washed up old fart! Bring Carson to the morning show!  :(

Click to report rating    2/12/10   4   Altlhough not perfect for all audiences, I find the Jack Diamond morning show to be a breath of fresh air compared to the cheap titillating that goes on at almost every other station. Jack may complain about a lot of things but he's usually right on with the mid to high incomce audience from Northern Virginia and DC. We feel your pain Jack and we love your sense of humor. Maybe the younger listeners don't remember the many stations that made plugs for advertisers throughout their shows but Jack does it with such ease and comfort that it really doesn't seem out of place. Call me old fashioned but we need more Radio Jockeys like Diamond who can be funny without being crass all the time. Sorry, if I've offended the DC 101 crowd but you can keep the cackling juvenile humor.  :)

Click to report rating    10/29/09   1   Okay. I'm calling BS .. Today I flipped on the morning show while Jack was in the middle of shilling for ProFlowers, again. This time he was pushing their flowers so hard I think he's having troubles. He kept saying "When you call to order, don't forget to say Diamond or Jack Diamond, don't forget" He repeated it over and over again. Then added some manure, too ...saying the flowers are nice and "the flower pot is extremely high quality" Riiight...$30 for delivered flowers and the pot is "extremely high quality". Really? Really Jack!? How dumb does he think his audience is?  :(

Click to report rating    9/11/09   1   "Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have a new baby boy. The baby weighed in at 7 lbs. 14 oz….no, wait, that was Nicole." Think that is funny or just lame? LAME! Jack thinks he's buying funny jokes for His crew's forced laughs. Sorry jack. He also thinks I care about his beach house, his West Virginia house, his RV, his mercedes convertible, his home recording studio, his pool, his huge house, his giant Sony tvs, his $5,000 cameras, his extended trips to Europe, England and New York, his long list of celebrity "friends". And, after displaying all that insecurity for the world to hear, one has to wonder whether he's packing any manhood at all?  :(

Click to report rating    5/3/09   1   Why does a man that makes so much money on the radio complain sooo much? I don't need to hear how horrible the hours are for the MORNING radio host or that he never sleeps. I don't want to hear this when I'm getting ready for work. This is part of your life, you chose it, and you're life ain't that bad when you own a home near Potomac with acres of land. Quit the constant complaining about the following: work hours, Disney child bands and their lack of talent, your wife not understanding you (are you heading for another divorce?), American Idol, the former presidents George W. Bush (you're not politician and you're clueless to world events that aren't noted in a chick mag), and the republican party. Are you even aware of what each party works for? Could you be so negative with your own political party affiliation flops? Why do you make every story from Jimmy and Aly a sex adventure with the stupid**** voice? Grow up. You're 50 not 35. Carson would be way better than you in the morning  :(

Click to report rating    4/30/09   5   Jack strikes a balance that is very difficult in this day and age. He is topical, funny and appeals to a wide age group. In my household, we all listen and we're ages 8 to 55. Jack obviously has a great reputation as an interviewer - his guest are amazing. My day just doesn't start off right if the Jack Diamond Morning Show isn't on my radio : )  :)

Click to report rating    4/19/09   3   Remove Jack from the scene and you have a wonderful cast of characters telling stories about their lives and entertaining the crowd. I adore Erica and Jimmy. They are close to my demographi and between the two of them we see eye to eye on may things but they make me laugh when the stories are told making it so much more fun. Aly is coming into her own - so young and much of life to still experience but fun to relive my past when she tells of her new experiences. If you include Jack you have a judgemental old man past his prime and angry at the younger generations successes - successes that he's never seen in his career. Don't dare show your love for any contemporary entertainer that he shuns for you will get his opinionated whine of how he could do it better. If that were the case he wouldn't be in radio. I do appreciate that he reads the chick mags for me. I don't waste my dollars on them. Find another morning radio facilitator and the ratings will improve.  :|

Click to report rating    4/5/09   5   My favorite part of the morning is listening to the Jack Diamond Morning Show as I drive into work. It's like listening to a group of old friends day in and day out. The show truly revitalizes me and makes me smile.  :)

Click to report rating    4/4/09   1   Jack Diamond is basically a jive old man who thinks he's young & hip. Luckily for him, he appeals to females who like his fake-jive & insincerity. Not an original line comes from him, he buys all his material, which is even sadder.  :(

Click to report rating    3/17/09   5   I love this show! I listen to it on my way to work every day. They often brighten the gloom of the day. I love th bantering - it's real life. It helps wake me up in the morning. I think Jack has great respect for his family - including his exwife. Love your show babe!  :)

Click to report rating    2/13/09   2   I'm typically offended by this show. The gender wars it loves to fuel and the joy it gets from emphasizing stereotypes and male-female differences is annoying as all get-out. It is so generic, and the ham-handed seques into lame stories about "this weekend I was with my boyfriend...and you know, you know what he did Jack?!"..."No, what did he do (person I have tasked with coming up with some mundane, lame-ass issue)"..."well, I don't know if this is a guy thing BUT..." Ugh! And, please, please have some frickin' new music!!!  :(

Click to report rating    1/14/09   1   I tuned in to Mix1073 for a John Mayer song playing this morning. Once the song ended the morning show's traffic woman sprang into action in with a completely boring story of a coffee table purchase at a local furniture store from a diligent Russian saleswoman. The story went absolutely NO WHERE. Jack, the predjudiced pinhead that he is, said...."those Russians, and I've met them IN RUSSIA. Those people are really very hard workers." I found myself tuning away immediately. I think Jack Diamond has never met a stereotype or cliche he didn't like. And Jack, which people are the lazy one? Who are are good with their money? Jack's creative well is much akin to a kiddy pool.  :(

Click to report rating    1/6/09   1   Jack Diamond is so full of himself. I returned to this area after being gone for three years. Initially I thought the show was ok. But after three years Jack still pats himself on the back and promotes himself everyday. I no longer listen unless Jack is on vacation or out sick.  :(

Click to report rating    9/12/08   1   I can't listen. Jack constantly does Johnny Carson voices. He is no Carson. Actually Carson who is on later in the day is better! It is all about Jack. Frankly, he is like an old embarrassing uncle at a family reunion who you wish would just zip it.  :(

6/20/08   1   You’re right about Jack Diamond’s sidekicks seeming as “clingy friends.” I’ve discovered that Erika Hillary laughs whenever Jack says, “wow!” I think it’s her cue. The other sycophants treat Jack as an old man in need of constant ego massage to help him feel young again.  :(

6/20/08   2   The Jack Diamond morning show is Ok, but I find it always ends up pushing Jack Diamond as some VIP. He is always name dropping such as last week when Tim Russert died and on Monday, he was like "oh and I knew him and he was on the show several times..." Then, not even 2 minutes later he is cracking jokes about other things. Every day I hear him name drop that he knows some celebrity and it is just irritating. His co-hosts are alright, but they all seem to worship Jack. I can just picture the radio studio and he is in the center and they are his klingy friends sitting around him giggling at all his jokes that usually aren't very funny. I will give him credit as he seems like a nice guy, but the comedy is generally weak and the name dropping is tiring.  :(

Click to report rating    5/20/08   1   His dialog is tripe. Jack Diamond says things like "if I go see a ballet.. I'll have to turn in my guy card." Jack, there are strong men who WATCH and ballet and who PERFORM ballet! Yeesh!!  :(

Click to report rating    5/19/08   5   Jack is a great guy and I have listened for years...since the days of Jack and Bert. It is difficult to be funny and not be offense and Jack and Jimmy and everyone do a fine job!  :)

Click to report rating    5/16/08   5   I enjoy listening to the music, guest appearances and the great chemistry between Jack, Erica, Jimmy, Tommy and especially "bilingual Aly." Love the podcasts, pictures and their involvement in the DC/Maryland/Virginia communities.  :)

Click to report rating    2/29/08   5   No one does it better! I travel extensively had have listened to many a radio show and now that his show streams, he's my first choice wherever I am in DC, the UK or down under. I love his interviews - always seems to ask "my" question. His topics alway give me great conversation starters too. - Truly love his show ("Babe") A true radio legend. ~ Jason  :)
