I listen to the DNR replay everyday and love the hilariousness that Derek can offer and sometimes Romaine. I agree with many comments below that it sucks that Romaine settled with Iris and had babies....that kinda stuff doesn't really interest me. I also enjoy the psychoness Romaine portraits when Anne is on the show. haha....I think she should have a fling with anne....or anyone for that matter. (especially since she always complains about her current relationship and not having an open relationship) |

Awesome,only drawback is when Romaine curses worse than a sailor. The F bomb is ok when it is used discretely, but she can sometimes use the noun/verb/ adjective Fs in one sentence. But I love them both so much for their talent, and what they do for the community. I also need the "bottom" soundbite for a ringtone. |

Derek can be a bit of a **** at times. He's intelligent, articulate and informative for the most part but he so often belittles the callers and their insecurities and dismisses them as trifles. Romaine, for me, is the better of the two. She can also be a bit abrasive at times, but I think that she's playing the role whereas I suspect that Derek can also be ****y and dismissive in real life. I prefer Frank and Michalangelo. |

Derek is funny and entertaining. I like this show a lot better when it's the Derek and Eric (Rhodes) Show. Romaine is too caustic for my tastes. She's always compaining, spewing negative stories, or dramtizing some incident in her life most listeners could care less about. She uses the "F" word way too much and could be a lot more respectful of her audience. I usually have to switch to a DVD after ten minutes of her tirades. I want to feel happy on my afternoon drives after a long work day, not feel angry or bad. |

I've been a big fan of Derek and Romaine for two years and I must say I still enjoy the show very much, though I agree that it may have lost a bit of momentum. I was sure once Romaine announced she was pregnant that the show would soon be plagued with endless baby stories. Fortunately, the baby stories have been limited, which keeps me listening. I like their array of guests and just the general back-and-forth about various topics (TV, movies, XBox, etc) is really fun for background noise when I'm playing computer games. |

This was a once quality show that was fun, and interesting. Now it's mostly like watching the "Donny and Marie show", just that every other word is "****es". Why have we as a GLBT community stooped so low as to accept standers such as these as "the best" and "edgy". I am ashamed to tell my straight friends and others out there in the GLBT community to listen to this channel, or to promote Sirius on the basis that they need to listen to this show. I think it's two otherwise talented people, that have clearly gotten lazy, unimaginative, and complacent. |

Sometimes spot-on funny, with great observations on modern queer life, D&R also feature some terrific guests, including the hilarious Michelle Collins and Dennis Hensley. Other times, the program ventures into not-so-great territory, especially when interviewing male**** stars who are either too high or too dumb to form a sentence, dreary reality-show castoffs, or the annoying nutitionist Felicia Stoler. Generally a fun program, but there are definite tune-out moments. Occasionally even the hosts apparently give up and play long music sequences for seemingly no other reason than they are tired of talking - not a great sign for a talk show. |

The show is good but a bit too repetitive at times. Often they seem to resort to sex talk, bathroom humor and random, annoying banter because they didn't have time to plan their show. Also, I think they are a bit too taken with their own celebrity--especially since a lot of it is due to luck and coincidence. I also HATE HATE HATE Derek's melodramatic Bette Davis-esque drag queen laugh. Every time he laughs I cringe. He needs to stop channeling the stereotypical bar queen and find a laugh that sounds a little less "acquired". And do we ALWAYS have to talk about sex toys and having sex? Actually I think Dan is the only one on the show I could stand hanging out with, since he's fun and goofy without being obnoxious and constantly vying for attention. Good job guys, but please expand your horizons, format and dicussions! Thanks! |

I use to love this show a lot. I listened every single day. Then after three months I realized it's the same thing every single week. Same callers, same stories, same music, same sound bits. Hearing them scold callers about asking then how they are doing is annoying and childish. I tried to listen again recently but a majority of their show seems to be begging for donations for the AIDS walk they are taking part in. If they reach their goal the two of them will get married. Exaclty what the gay community needs right now, gay people mocking marriage. Great show, not. |

I love listening to true confessions, your personal bathroom humor, almost everything. I say almost because I have one request: Romaine (I have an Uncle Romaine!): Somethings like your personal graphic masturbation stories should remain private, it really isn't funny and doesn't add to the show. Also being a nurse for many years, I have stories of foreign objects in bodies that couldn't be removed by the person or their partner. Be Careful! Marie |

Great show most of the time. However, some of the rudeness towards the listeners needs to stop. I think hanging up on someone for breaking your STUPID rule #4 is really uncalled for. Derek really needs to find a source of self esteem off the air so he doesn't feel compelled to constantly belittle Romaine, and show off his vocabulary skills adnauseum! Is that all you got out of your college education, Hun? Lose the pretentious attitude now! |

Tied with Frank DeCaro and Dorea for my favorite show on Sirius. Soooo funny. Anyone that can wax poetically about a McDonald's french fry has my ear! The first time I ever listened was Derek's first day back from his vacation on the houseboat and I remember him telling in detail about the crates of alcohol he and his friends hauled on to the boat. I think they almost sank it. Reminded me of my trip on the Fire Island ferry. Thank you guys for telling me about TiVo!!! |

I got Sirius when Howard announced his move in 2005. I can miss Howards show and go on without my day. If I miss Derek and Romaine in the afternoon the day just doesn't feel right. They are the best.
