Click to report rating    3/25/11   5   I love Mitch, but I can't stand Sandy! Get off you high horse Sandmeyer, no one cares about your op-ed piece on Ken Griffey Jr. Mitchy gets a 5 rating from me if only for his Bigger Dance that he puts on every year. It's such a great idea that it has been ripped off by countless other radio stations(710 espn *cough*. The best sports interviewer in Seattle. RID: 29561

Click to report rating    11/30/10   1   Awful. Long drawn out questions, “it’s all about me and my teams”, maybe by taking a shot at everybody else, you feel better about yourself? A jerk RID: 28529

Click to report rating    8/10/10   2   As a Philly native, I find it hard to believe this guy is considered one of the best sports jocks around here. It's profundly irritating when he makes the sports news all about him. When the Hawks lose, it's about HIS awful weekend. Please. How about some real hard-hitting sports news without the butt-kissing and endless cliches? And don't get me started on his marbles-in-their-mouths sidekicks. RID: 27618

Click to report rating    1/12/10   1   Mitch is incredibly annoying and whiny, especially with the Pete Carroll hire. He can't stop whining about it. RID: 26086

Click to report rating    1/9/09   2   I agree with the person below that Mitch is annoying, but mostly because he has a hard time saying a complete sentence without stumbling. I know it's hard to do a 3-4 hr show every morning and speak perfectly, but the norm for him is to correct himself every other sentence. Also, he has an irritating habit of rolling his "S"'s after a word ending in an S. Like, "How many turnoverssss did the Huskiessss have" (listen closely next time). I'm a recent transplant from L.A. (I know, I should just go back then), so maybe I'm used to more than one sports talk station. I can't wait until KIRO gets a morning sports talk program. It was also grating to hear Mitch talk about how the Seahawks actually had a chance to make the playoffs when they were 2-8 or whatever. In fact many of the KJR DJ's wasted time with that nonsense. But I do like the afternoon DJ's much better. Who knows, maybe Mitch knows sports, but to me he is just annoying. RID: 23012

Click to report rating    12/12/08   1   He has some good segments like the Daily Schnoz and Stark on Baseball, but overall the show is as annoying as the host is. If I want to hear people talk about hot women and other Maxim-esque stuff, I'll listen to the T-Man - i.e. someone who actually is good at humor and doesn't force jokes. The amount of people who say this is the best show on KJR is a shining example of how most Seattle sports fans are nonchalant and dimwitted about the sports themselves as opposed to places like NYC and Philly, and would rather hear some 30-plus wannabe frat boy rank women's hotness for a month and fake-flirt with the equally annoying traffic girl. Click to report rating    9/26/08   5   Great Show! A real genuine and sincere person.and asks the tough questions we all want to know, but does it in a tactful and respectful way as not to offend the interviewee. Gets top of the line guests to appear on his show. Jayson Stark is greaton a weekly basis. RID: 21368

Click to report rating    9/12/08   5   This guy is one of the best interviewers on the radio waves. On top of that, his storytelling is priceless. On the downside, there's a little too much overtalking (with his sidekicks) at times and when his co-host takes over the show things go real flat real fast. RID: 21070

Click to report rating    8/30/08   3   talks about a faithfull few in the listening audience, could be different if he acted like he was a total sports fan, and did not just go on and on only about his favorate teams and sports. RID: 20641

Click to report rating    12/10/07   5   Great show. Knows how to mix sports with humor. The Daily Snozz is great. Usually has has 3-4 stories from around the country, then a 'interview' with a figure. RID: 16262

Click to report rating    10/16/07   5   He makes Golf worthwile to listen to. Mitch makes it so much fun to listen to sports, even when our favorite team gets beat. I'll still want to hear what he and Sandy have to say. RID: 15472

Click to report rating    9/25/07   5   The antics and craziness on the show are just over the top sometimes. But the quality and range of guests are awesome and I always ensure to be a part of the bigger dance!!! Just wish I could hear a quality sports talk show even close here in Alabama! RID: 14945

Click to report rating    5/31/07   3   Show is fine as long as Mitch isn't asking questions. He'll have a great guest but 30, 40, 50 second questions aren't the exception, they're the rule. Irritating. RID: 12826

Click to report rating    5/22/07   5   Perfect show if you're a big Phil Mickelson fan. Mitch loves Phil. Also features occasional in-depth, insightful interview by producer Schmitty, who is clearly the next Larry King or Ed Bradley. RID: 12636
