Mark and Kris were so funny and had such a great variety of games and episodes to keep every age group entertained. Kane is just rude and obnoxious and very boring. He usually just disses every one and has no variety in his show. I rarely listen to 99.5 anymore.

*	7/23/09	5	I'm not getting why everybody hates the show...I think it is hilarious. I love that Kane just says what's on his mind. It's his show...that is probably why it's called "The KANE show", he should be able to talk about whatever he wants (within reason you know). And coming from someone who has worked with the public, I applaude Kane for not taking crap from rude and obnoxious listeners. When I was waitressing, I wish I could have told some people to go fk themselves. No one is perfect, he's not gonna please anyone, but for all the people on this post who are **ing because he replaced another show: you can't change the past (maybe there is a reason they got FIRED). Oh PS: no one is forcing you to listen. You don't like it? Switch the dial. And I'm woman enough to sign my name-TJ

*	2/16/09	1	So so soooo awful. I can't leave it on for more than 10 seconds because my ears start to bleed. Kane is so loud and obnoxious, and nothing he says is ever clever or funny. And now all 99.5 does is shamelessly promote the struggling Kane show and make their DJs suck up to Kane like he's God walking the earth. You can't trick us into thinking he's funny...just find a better host!!

	11/14/08	1	The Kane Show is the most annoying radio show I've ever heard in my life. The way Kane talks is obnoxious! He repeats himself all the time. I love hot 99.5 but they seriously need to get rid of this show. His pranks are so stupid and his comments are rude! And I'm sorry, but have you seen the pictures of this guy?!? He has NO room to be talking about anyone!!

	10/18/08	1	I used to find him funny, but now I'm just SICK of the guy. He's a total .. well, words I can't post here. During American Idol, he continually said ridiculously horrible things about the 17 year-old contestant, David Archuleta. What kind of guy bashes a young teenager like that? Then, when the winner, David Cook called in, he asked if Archuleta is gay. That was WAY over the line - questioning a 17 year-old's sexuality? Are you SERIOUS, Kane? I'm a Cook fan but I'm apalled at this behavior. Now Archuleta's got a huge hit single, and the station plays it all the time - except Kane still won't swallow his ego and play it during his morning show, which is an important time because of morning commuters to work. I think people would like him a LOT more if he could just apologize and admit that David's a bigger hit than he was expecting. And play the dang song. And this is just ONE example of his antics, probably the one example I remember the most.

	10/18/08	5	i'll be honest, when the morning mess left and kane came on, i hated everything about it. but u guys have got to give him a chance. a VALID chance. he's HILARIOUS. everyone is hilarious. sarah, samy, erick.. even the interns are funny sometimes. (or he's funny to them.) he's one of the best radio personalities out there right now, seriously. he has some SERIOUS talent, and a great personality and crew to go with it. it's a great show, and i wake up 2 hours earlier than i need to every morning just to listen. and when i miss it, i go to kane on demand. seriously, give them a chance to win u over if you're still missing the mess. theyll do it.

	7/31/08	2	Its difficult. Kane needs to come down from that high horse he is riding and let other people speak. If one doesn't follow his way, then he cuts them off. He's rude to listeners and is really f-ed up. He credits himself with idea's that aren't his. War of the Roses is not his, its Ryan Seacrests. (Used to be Kane's roses, i wonder why it was changed). The purses and the "kane cash" was all before the moron came on air. Its idyllic that he would steal things and claim them as his own when PGC, KYS, DC101 were doing it years before he was. All his crap is just a way to get his way of saying "love me love me" and now that he's on the air, he things he's all that. He clearly has no sense of what a real radio jockey should be like. This no name needs to come off the high horse he's been riding. i have to turn it off. I listen just because of sarah. she makes the show have some sense. Sarah, run, save yourself before its to late. Just walk in and just tell them "i quit this bi*ch" and walk..

	4/9/08	5	Although- I truly miss Teapot Tim... The Kane show is pretty good. I love his stories about what happened to him while driving or over the weekend. Floronda and Wilson stories were hilarious. I can say that they are definitely the best morning show around.

	2/8/08	1	Kane: Taking the show off the air good one it should have lasted longer. Can't wait to see if the FCC finds clear channel for trying to crank up the wattage, dumb!!! I did enjoy the fill ins and not hearing Sarah do the traffic or weather or the hollywood gossip for the day was comforting. This Show needs to GO! Sarah is so annoying, Sammy infintile needs to grow up and stop smoking weed, or wait doesn't smoking lead to lung cancer never mind..keep on smoking sammy.

	9/25/07	2	I miss teapot team. Although Kane is financilly better for the pocket of clear channel i still think that in the long run they have made a really bad business decision. At the onset of Kane's show he did his hardest to bribe and keep some audience but bribery could only get him so far. i think that it is never too late to bring back the hot morning mess as it will be great for the audience as well as clear chanell in the long run. trust the listeners on this not your pocket.

	8/24/07	5	I was happy when Mark and Chris were gone - they were extremely annoying to the point that I didn't want to listen to the 99.5 anymore. I am actually listening to Hot 99.5 again because of the Kane Show. They are always coming up with new stuff every week. So far, I listen to them every morning on my way to work. I really don't understand why so many people are hating on it. Quite personally, I think he brings orginiality and excitement to the radio, whereas, other radio stations are just boring and cliche. Kane Show rocks!

	8/7/07	1	I tried to give Kane a chance but he is very annoying, from his voice to his comments. I believe for the most part, things are scripted and nothing comes out naturally. He tries very hard to let everyone know he cares about a certain topic to the point where it sounds very fake. I have stopped listening since and I wished this area would have a better morning show to wake up to.

	8/1/07	1	I tried to give this morning show a chance when I had to borrow my friends car, she didn't have xm so I swithced to the Kane show on 99.5. Never before has my 25 min drive felt like 2 hours. This has got to be one of the worst shows ever. The topicsd were lame, the in studio banter was terrible, and Kane had no radio personality whatsoever.

	7/25/07	1	I hated Mark and Kris so I was thrilled to see them go, and was hoping that maybe this new person would be at least marginally funny. Well, after listening to the Kane Show I would welcome Mark and Kris back on hands and knees, his show is THAT bad. His voice is grating, he's completely self-righteous, his sidekicks are annoying and bland (especially Sammy - my God, please stop laughing, my ears are bleeding), and the show deals only in cliches and stereotypes. I feel like I'm listening to the radio DJs on the Simpsons, he's such a cliche, especially when he talks about doing his "bits". I normally listen to Elliot in the Morning because they're much funnier and don't try so hard, but switch around during commercials. The Kane Show is just-it's horrible. Words really can't describe the banality of this program. PLEASE SEND HIM BACK TO FLORI-DUH 99.5!

That girl with Kane isn't any good either. Very monotone in speaking and when Kane bashs her she just sits and takes it. oh, and she has no good hollywood dirt. I don't listen to 99.5 anymore in the mornings but I do log on to 95.1 the APE where Mark and Kris are being their funny selves. Makes me want to move to Jacksonville.

	7/20/07	1	I think Kane and 99.5 have dramatically deteriorated in quality since Mark and Chris left! First off, the only reason they hired Kane was because they knew he could make them more money than Mark and Chris. Kane always comes up with some kind of scheme to lure people to listen to his show and then when everybody is actually listening and trying to get past all the dull topics he talks about he pulls out with some kind of excuse that he can't talk about what he has been promoting for days. Not only that, he always talks about how there is going to be some kind of a news breaking story after the song he is about to play but then after the song there is a 5 minute commercial break and then they talk about something irrevelant to the news breaking story, then there is another commercial break and then they talk about the actual story they said they would talk about 15 minutes ago. Its all about the ratings, 99.5 and Kane don't really care about their listeners just the ratings.

	5/27/07	3	I enjoy that Kane show but to be honest, I think he may be a bit of a thief. I grew up in the Philadelphia area and always listened to Q102 up there with their morning show. Kane's show copies so much of what they've been doing for over 10 years, right down to "War of the Roses" (it's called the same thing on Q102) and the stupid things Sammy has to go out and do (in Philly it's a guy named Diego). Like I said, it's entertaining, but I'd enjoy it more if I knew it was stuff he came up with instead of stealing it from someone else.

	5/4/07	1	The Kane show doesn’t even come close to the former Hot99.5 Morning Mess Show. Kane has an annoying voice, his loud and when he doesn’t like what you say, he does this stupid “huff” sound. Also, I hate when he says one thing and then goes on a commercial, he has more commercials then a show. It’s interesting that the reason the producers didn’t renew the contract for the Morning Mess Show because of money but now they spend more money trying to keep viewers interested. If stays at Hot99.5 he will ruin the radio station. He’s latest bright idea… Now he wants to raise money to get Kevin Federline to come to DC and do stupid stuff. Didn’t the show especially Kane learn lesson from the Bobby Brown incident? Obviously Not!

	5/3/07	3	I HATED Kane when he first started, it was like he was hopped up on "hey guys love me" juice and was trying pathetically hard to be funny, with nothing to show for it except for, oh, me hating his show. It was also weird, all the girls calling in his first week pretending to be SO upset he was engaged because they LOVED him... um, you fell desperately in love in less than a day?? Ok, something smells like an audience plant here, that must be his sister or his buddy's girlfriend. That being said... he's not so bad now. Right, not Mark & Kris (I loved Kris especially), obviously the radio gods have cut for political/financial reasons. But giving Kane his due, he seems to have calmed down now, and he seems more professional and like he actually plans out his shows in advance. I'll keep giving him a chance. I like the music, though - I need it to wake up.

	4/26/07	1	This show is awful.Kane is always trashing someone or interfering with other people's lives-"war of the roses"-thats ridiculous; who does he think he is to meddle with people's lives like that and then sit there and "mediate" with his own personal UNPROFESSIONAL opinion? The show's just BORING. Most of it is people calling &giving personal stories and polls. I feel that it's dramatic,and inappropriate for public radio.For ex:there was a show where women called in&said how many men they've slept with.Who wants their 14 year old listening to that?There are adults listeners, but kids tune in too.I'm 22 and other people's sex lives is NOT what I want to be hearing @8am. Although I loved Mark and Kris,for years,I gave this guy a chance,and he doesn't even come close to the QUALITY & entertainment of their show.I don't mind a little crude humor and inappropriateness, but Kane takes it over the edge&it's just very unpleasant. But I guess the trashiness of the show just reflects the management

He does war or the roses which is good, busting people cheating, and he discusses lots of different topics and has contests also using the website to tie it all together. I like that he is nice to the listeners unlike other shows who make a joke of the callers all the time, he seems really down to earth.

	4/9/07	1	I normally wouldn't say something mean about someone..but...Kane sucks. I have listened off and on since Mark and Kris left and I just can't any longer. Their show is now catered to teenage women. All of the topics make it painfully obvious that their target pop is women. Kane is so worried about offending anyone, it's obvious. Why can't he just act like a real guy? Sarah is a real bimbo as well. She just isn't meant for radio. The new station manager made a lot of mistakes.. it is a shame. Why would he take off the #1 rated show (Mark and Kris)? So dumb. I now listen to the Junkies 106.7- at least they have an orginal thought, don't make their target pop obvious and don't hesitate before they speak. And their funny... Kane show is not.

	1/20/07	1	Boring.....snoreville, I tried to listen to Kane but really can't stand the man. The show sucks. I tried to listen the other morning and one of the girls on the show was talking about the stars she slept with...Give me a break, teens listen to the show. Kane was asking who was the best...bla.bla.bla. I now have had to venture out and will listen to country or even the news station before 99.5. You lost me....Bring back Mark, Kris, Ron and T-pot and I will come back too....

	1/20/07	1	I like listening to a live morning show, and I keep coming back to 99.5 hoping that Kane will find his groove. THis week I actually listened two days in a row... it was like watching a train crash :( Day1: he's asking people to call in if they hooked up with someone famous (I'm sorry-I must have missed the things we wanted to talk over with our teens.) Then he asks for photos of bad parking jobs in D.C. (for a $ prize of course-still trying to pay for listeners??) because "we all know that the drivers in the D.C. area are JACKASSES". Hello? Are you DJing morning DRIVE TIME???? thanks Kane.Day 2: I tune in to hear the discussion about how people are so poorly educated that they don't know that the earth revolves around the sun. He asks people to call in to tell him whether the earth revolves around the sun or vice versa. 5 minutes later, he realizes "oh, I guess I shouldn't have given the answer before I asked people to call." C'mon. This show is LAME.

	1/12/07	3	To tell you the truth, Kane's ok. I really did like Mark and Kris and I listened to them every morning, but towards the end, I was starting to get annoyed with them. Sometimes Mark would just start laughing at some random thing that could be offensive to other people, and I was SICK of hearing Kris talk about her boob implants. Also, they would always tease the girl who did the weather. All in all, though, it was a good show. I was really sad when Teapot Tim left, too, before Mark, Kris, and Ron were fired.I say we just give Kane a chance. After all, he's new to the area, right? You have to admit that DC is a lot different from Florida...he did act really immature and annoying when he first started out (making Sammy LICK stuff?! Come on, that's disgusting!), but he's slowly getting better, and I think eventually with time and experience, the Kane Show is going to get up to the level that the Hot Morning Mess was at. Cut him some slack, people! He's just trying his best.

	1/7/07	1	Kane discussed inappropriate topics for teenagers who listen to the show in the morning. Few examples are: gentalmen's club, people expose themselves (including posting pictures on line), and his hookup history (who cares..really). I think Kane should take some time to get to know the MD/DC/VA area. Maybe he will find more topics for his show. Calling his loser fiance in the morning to try to fill in time is not really worth of listenting to.

	1/5/07	1	I, too, listened to Mark and Kris and the dynamic they had together, along with Ron and T-pot, cannot be compared to Kane. Kane is a one man train wreck with a sidekick female who just makes a bad situation worse. Mark and Kris could talk about any topic and ensure that all angles were being represented, whereas Kane targets one group and usually does so in a poor manner. I am sure that Kane was very popular where he came from, but as a friend below has already mentioned...Clear Channel is the only one benefitting from this and that benefit is only financial. Haven't we all been told by our parents that money doesn't bring happiness and as anyone can see below, there are many who are very unhappy with their morning commute now.

	12/20/06	1	I have tried to listen to the Kane show a few times and he is just awful. I dont really want to listen to all of the white trash topics he discusses on my way to work in the morning. I really did like Mark and Chris and think they got totally screwed. I used to listen every morning and after 2 days of trying Kane I NEVER listen to 99.5 now. And this is not the first time clear channel has done this. Clearly, its only about the money with them and not the listeners.

*	12/17/06	3	i wasn't pleased with how suddenly 99.5 got rid of djs at first, and poor kane guy came along to adjust with that situation in a new state. he too is a dj and probably maybe hating all these reactions. i can see he's trying to please all of you doing his work, while getting all these hates with favoritisms and criticisms. sure, he plays the same music again and when i listen to the show, it reminds me of some type of 'talk show' on tvs with controversial topics (to draw attention and stretch time for more listeners) but it's just a strategies, i guess. he's trying hard so don't hate. although topics are somewhat annoying in a few sense, as well as slacker licking stupid germs (how desperate is that). sure, listening to mrs kane (home maker) was kind of lame like i was prying on someone's personal home calls. anyways, i don't have much option with other stations so i listen to 99.5 in a morning but turns to elliot in a morning who's actually really horrible.

*	12/1/06	1	I miss the morning mess! I have to say that the Kane show drives me crazy. I don't want to be depressed on my way to work listening about men cheating on their girlfriends or the fight he had with his fiancee because he is too damn insecure. It is not fun and a morning show needs to be fun. The morning mess was always fun and this show is so depressing I just turn it off in the mornings or switch my radio to Hot 99.5's competition. I think Hot 99.5 made a big mistake not renewing the morning mess contract. They deserve a raise and to be brought back on the air. I realize business is business but I seriously doubt the morals of a company that will let people go, who are doing a good job, when one member has just had back surgery and the other has just had a baby. I like the music of Hot 99.5 but if you are not going to have a funny morning show I would prefer you just have a DJ that plays music and keeps his voice off of the air.

*	11/29/06	1	Ok, I tried to give Kane a chance after the management of Hot 99.5 apparently lost their minds and got rid of DC's number 1 rated morning show, but I can't stand Kane's program. I found myself bored and annoyed that Mark Kaye, Kris Gamble, and Big Ron Ross were replaced with the boring and inane ramblings of Kane. Sorry Kane, I'm sure your a nice guy but your program doesn't cut it as a morning show. I refuse to listen to the station, even though I actually grew to like the music. I bought an iPod and now rely on iTunes to make my commute bearable. I'm not blaming Kane, he's not responsible for the questionalbe actions of Hot 99.5's executives and he's doing his show his way. Kane, good luck in your career. Hot 99.5, I hope you come to your senses soon and bring back DC's number 1 rated morning show. Until then, you're officially off my radio preset. Sammy sounds like his voice hasn't changed yet, and it sounds like they pulled the girl right out of cheer leading practice. I gave him an honest chance, but it became very clear early on that he is not trying to rope in former listeners. I think 99.5 is flat out going for the 16 to 23 year old market and making no apologies about it. What are educated 20 and 30-somethings supposed to listen to in DC now?? He talks about the most trivial stuff and it's OLD trivial stuff at that. Today he was ranting about how Abercrombie and Fitch only hires good looking people, like it was breaking news! They got tossed to the curb for a horrible replacement and I'd be a little upset myself if I were in their situation. They were a far superior show to listen to and they know it just as well as we do. So if they ARE encouraging people to vote against Kane, good for them! At least they're not begin weak and giving up without even trying. They belong back on the air, and hopefully that will eventually happen. *	11/22/06	2	I think he is an alright afternoon DJ, just not a morning show. Keywork SHOW. I liked the previous SHOW cause they interacted more with the audience and they were freakin hillarious!!! This guy just keeps rambaling on about stupid stuff as if he is just trying to fill time. Like I said an afternoon DJ. I never listened to a morning show before the Hot Morning Mess. Now I am the same way I just throw in a CD and listen to music in the mornings now. I don't like any radio station's morning shows in the area. People say change is good. I think good change is good. Bad decision on Clear Channels part. I give him a 2 not beacuse I'm comparing him to the previous show, but because that is what I think he deserves. Slacker Sammy is just freakin annoying. Kane is kind of offensive, st-st-stutters, and is just plain LAME! I do NOT want to hear about WHICH RACE is better in bed, which is the last show I heard. Hello Julian the second, but at least Julian was on at night, and was kind of funny. Kane has an obnoxious voice, I could practically feel the smugness coming through my radio the last time I deigned to listen to his show. His show has made me realize how much I truly like the Hot Morning Mess, and how I took it for granted, and that is the ONLY good thing that has come from it. Kane is lame. That is all.

Perhaps when he's more comfortable and not worried about ratings, he wont seem like he's trying too hard. I have listened for a week now and he doesn't keep my attention. He is a little boring and I am tired of hearing how "great" he thinks he is and how he is this big friend of so many celebrities. It is DC..we see celebs all the time. Its not so impressive. Who cares if you made out with Willa Ford. I just hope with new people added to the mix that it helps the show. He still keeps us up to date on the gossip, he's somewhat funny....I think he's the type to grow on you, hes growing on me. *	11/20/06	1	I gave Kane a chance. I really honestly did. It was hard at first, but I stuck it out for a week, and came to the conclusion that I just don't like him. He talks too fast and plays too much music. Morning shows are supposed to get you energized and ready for the day, and I just don't like his style. It has NOTHING to do with Mark and Kris leaving. I am upset like everyone else, but my rating is based on actually listening to the show. He bribes people by giving them money to say they like him. He won't take people with different opinions...either you say you like the show or you won't get on the air to make a comment. *	11/20/06	5	First of all, the Hot Morning Mess was great and they were wonderful at what they do. Remember, Billy Bush and the Bush League in the late 90's? He was on a Baltimore station with Albi Dee (sorry don't know how to spell that), anyway, I was so upset when he left and look at him know-he's on Access Hollywood and he isn't complaining. I promise that the Hot Morning Mess will move on to bigger and better things because they are good at what they do. As far as Kane-to say that he sucks isn't fair-he is doing the Morning drive, which is more than most of us can say about our careers and it doesn't get better than that! He didn't get rid of The Hot Morning Mess and it's not his fault, so please get over it and let him do his job. I think that everyone knows what it's like to be "the replacement" and sometimes it's not fun but he is doing something that he enjoys and I believe that he is doing a wonderful job-Keep up the great work Kane!

There is more music than talk and in my opinion to have a "show" there has to be something remotely entertaining about it and he is not on the air enough to entertain anyone and the time he is on the air he isn't funny at all. The whole bit with Beyonce was not funny at all and nothing I have heard him do is funny. He even knows that it is bad when he has to bribe listeners with 25-100 bucks to listen! I used to listen to 99.5 in car and via internet at work. Now I wait til around noon to log on. The morning show just doesn't have the energy or excitement like it used to. Whoever the hell decided not to renew Mark & Kris's contract should have his contract revoked.

	11/18/06	1	It used to be as soon as i got in the car at 6am 99.5/mark and kris were already there making me laugh... keeping me entertained so i wouldnt pass out in NOVA traffic. I would turn the station only when the commercials would come on...now i only turn 99.5 on to listen to the commercials which i might add have more personality than this Kane feller. Listening to a "radio personality" is hard when the DJ has the personality of a dead fish. i hate to be rude, but you people have got to be kidding...this guy may have some fans and im sure they're in their late 70's which is fine... but this isnt easy listening.

Mark, Kris, and Ron are a totally different kind of show (They're a MORNING SHOW - A wake you up, get you going, laughing your ass off show). And even without Mark, Kris and Ron, as comparison, he still SUCKS. His humor is infantile. And I think Nickelodeon would still reject him. I'm not even sure how he has a syndicated show or had an afternoon show. Maybe it's the shoes he's filling. They don't fit.

	11/18/06	1	I wanted to listen to Kane before I passed any judgement on his show, and I could only listen for 2min. His show is very boring, he talks about nothing important. He was talking about findind a calander of hot guys in his fiance's box, while unpacking. WHO CARES! He spent way too much talking about that. He needs to return to Tampa, where they probably liked him. Hot 99.5 sucks now. My husband doesn't really listen to Hot, because he has Sirius. The other day though he was flipping on his way to work and was like, what happened to Mark and Kris? He was even shocked and said he though it was another one of their stunts. Kane is that bad.

In that moment I was subjected to him berating a listener on the air about her opinion that offering tickets to people for praise was wrong. He proceeded to offer her tickets to show that not only those people who give praise get them, but completely missed her point. I then shut the thing off and proceeded to work in silence.

	11/17/06	1	I'm not going to rate this according to a comparison to Mark, Kris, and Big Ron Ross. I miss them all but I think it's important to rate Kane as a morning show. That being said, I'm not a fan. I like to laugh in the morning because really, I know I won't be laughing too much at work since I'm a programmer. But I haven't laughed any of the times I've tuned in (I tuned in every day this week and while fiddling with the stations, I must have tuned in about 5 different times and listened a bit each time so I could at least make a fair judgement). I'm really aggravated by him calling his fiancee all the time and if I have to hear about the jocks calendar one more time, i'm going to scream. And giving people $1500 for a PS3. They're going for about $3000 on ebay. Anyway, I just don't find the show entertaining. Maybe that's because he's not interacting with anyone else. When the radio is on in the morning, it's on DC101 now.

I am so tired of him calling his finacee every morning. I personally don't care if she plans on cleaning the house or the fact that she needs Tom Tom to get around. You would have thought that if Mark and Kris were to be replaced, then they would have looked a little harder to find someone that was almost as entertaining as Mark and Kris. I guess Clear Channel exec's aren't as smart as they seem to think they are.

	11/17/06	1	Kane is negative and much too abrasive for a morning personality. I love 99.5 but absolutely cannot listen to Kane. Morning radio should be light hearted and upbeat. Something to help jump start your day. He's a downer. I'm listening to CD's in the AM now. What a bad decision the station made!

	11/17/06	1	I realize that the target market for this station is young women but I'm a 44-yr-old married man with two young kids and I enjoyed listening to Mark and Kris--they cracked me up. I gave Kane a week and I can't stand it anymore. He's not funny and I haven't listened to any funny antics like Teapot's. He likes to tell us how connected he is but who really gives a damn? Does any other station play this type of music so I can listen to a less self-absorbed jock? The morning mess has actually become a true mess.

	11/17/06	1	Super boring. Kane is not funny and will never come close to the sucess of Mark and Kris. I have actually listened to his show for about 10 minutes this week but it never holds my interest. He is NOT easy to listen to in the morning. Maybe as a weekend DJ because I don't listen to the radio on the weekend. This show is not worth listening to!!!

	11/17/06	1	Kane helps me wake up-before my alarm would go off to the hot morning mess and I would lay in bed and listen to them because they were hilarious. When I hear Kane I immediately jump out of bed and turn the radio off.

	11/17/06	1	This guy is obnoxious. I cannot stand to listen to him for more than 5 minutes before I have to change the channel. He is NOT FUNNY AT ALL!!!! Bring back MARK & KRIS and the real MORNING MESS! They were awesome and all of us in DC miss their show horribly!!!! :(

	11/17/06	1	SOMEONE deleted my previous post so I will say it again! Kane sucks. He will NEVER be Mark & Kris and he will never be like the Hot Morning Mess. I miss them SO much. I can't believe they have to resort to paying people to listen to him! From what I have heard he is rude and obnoxious...kind of like the Greaseman, but the Greaseman was FUNNY. Clear Channel should figure out real fast how this is going to pan out...they are going to continue losing viewers. It is horrible. I can't wait till their brilliant plan blows up in their faces!

	11/17/06	1	I tried to give Kane the benefit of the doubt. I know he is stepping into some really big shoes but he is just not morning show material AT ALL! When I listened to Mark and Kris there were days I was CRYING from laughing so hard, now it's just so boring. This area has THE BEST radio entertainment in the country and Kane does not meet up to the standards we have here in DC. Maybe he can take over Mick's place in the afternoon.

	11/17/06	3	Kane is a good dj; just not for the mornings... listening in the morning while commuting,I would prefer something really funny, something that makes me laugh out loud to the point of tears, not about the news/goings on or doing annoying things. Living in the DC area, we get too much of that. He would be great for afternoon or evening. So as a DJ, i would give him a 5, but where he is programmed 1.

	11/17/06	1	I gave Kane to days to try and gain me as a listener. He failed miserably. He is loud, obnoxious, offensive, and boring. It is pretty apparent that the guy should dtick to afternoons. I expect my morning show to be interesting discussions and funny banter between the hosts. Kane lacks everything it takes to make it morning radio.

I mean really, like someone else pointed out, why would he talk about a USELESS poll that rates how well woman are in bed according to their race? 	11/17/06	1	Sorry to say this show is not very entertaining. I listened for a couple of days to give the guy the benefit of the doubt but, to be honest I was not amused in the slightest bit. I think he fails to connect with the audience and I dislike how he's always talking about where he lives and how he has a maid. LAME.

	11/17/06	1	I felt bad for Kane because he has some really big shoes to fill. I think it's hard for him because he is in a very controversial situation given the circumstance of how Mark, Kris, and Ron were let go but a good morning show deejay would be able to squash the listeners' frustration and just make the show enjoyable. He isn't doing that. You could feel his defensiveness on the first two days when he was insulting to the listeners. That turned me off right away. I listened again this morning and it sounds like the defensiveness is gone but the show is boring, to me at least. It doesn't have anything to draw you in. And it sounds like he is relying more on the sympathy of those that call-in than on his content.

	11/17/06	1	I genuinely tried to be open minded and see what Kane brought to the table. Unfortunately, he brought very little. He is inarticulate, boring and sometimes offensive. Sometimes you don't realize what you have until it is gone. It was a big mistake to let the previous mornign show go. A single person is never as good as an emsemble, nevermind that the previous ensemble was the best morning show i had ever heard. I grew up listening to the Z Morning Zoo in NYC and this show was actually better. You should kick Kane to the Curb sooner rather than later.

	11/17/06	1	HORRIBLE! Some of the stuff he says is really offensive to women, and not funny at all. Since when is is appropriate to talk about what kind of women are good in bed on a morning show? HELLO! People have this on when they are taking there children to school. I tried to give him a chance, but he's not funny at all. Maybe Jeff Kapugi shouldn't hire his friends anymore.

	11/17/06	1	First of all, he stutters and has trouble thinking of what to say next. Sometimes he makes no sense. He tries too hard and his subjects are boring/trashy/offensive/desperate. I can no longer stand listening to 99.5 in the morning. Bring the mess back.

	11/17/06	1	I definitely do no care for Kane and the new show. I am a loyal mess fan, however, realizing that it wasn't Kane's fault that they are no longer there I thougth I would give him a chance. I find him offensive, rude, obnoxious, and feel as though he is trying way to hard. He criticizes people all the time and talks about subjects that I don't think most people care about at 7:00 am, I know I don't. Slacker Sammy is a teapot tim WANNA BE and doesn't even come close to what teapot tim was to the station. The mess helped to make slacker sammy even be known on the air and now he thinks that he is all that, when I really do not think he is even that entertaining. I am sure Kane has had wonderful reviews elsewhere but I think he needs to realize what shoes he is trying to fill, that this is not an evening show, and that he shouldn't try so hard.

	11/17/06	1	The Kane show is absolutly terrible...unorganized, boring...Kane is rude/obnoxious and everyone who speaks on the show either has a stuttering problem or just can't read (Besides Diana Solice). It's hard to listen to the show when there is such poor public speaking/communication.
